What are Intramural Sports?
|

Intramural Sports at Auburn University offers individual, and team sports for male and female participation. Intramural activities range from traditional sports such as flag football, basketball, and slow-pitch softball to non-traditional sports such as table tennis, badminton, and sand volleyball.
Intramural Sports offers a great opportunity to engage in competition and meet other students, faculty and staff. Everyone is welcome regardless of your skill level.

Who can participate in intramurals at NOVA?
|
Any current NOVA student, faculty, & staff are welcome to participate. You must bring your NOVA ID with you to each game to be eligible to play.

How do I register a team?
|
To register a team all you have to do is create an account with IMleagues. Go to IMleagues.com and create an account by following the instructions and using your school e-mail or you can create and account using your Facebook information. Once you do that create a team and invite friends to be on it once they sign on with IMleagues.

I have created and account but when I search for NOVA the site tells me it's private. What do I do?
|
|
You must use your school e-mail address to create an account with IMleagues.. If you created an account with your Facebook information but your Facebook account doesn't use your school e-mail then when you try to join NOVA the site will tell you that you can't because it is private. This is because only NOVA students, faculty, and staff are allowed to participate. It is not public because then we would not be able to tell if participants are current NOVA students, faculty, or staff.

What do I do if I don't know enough people to register a team?
|
Once you have created an account or used your Facebook log in to get an account with IMleagues you can register for an Intramural Sport as a free agent and wait for a team who needs another player to pick you up. Once you know what team you are on you can look at their schedule on IMleagues. If a team does not pick you up you will be assigned to a team.

Can I register for an Intramural Sport at a different campus than the campus I attend/teach classes?
|
Yes, any current NOVA student, faculty, or staff can register for any Intramural Sport regardless of what campus you attend classes or work at.
