Not at all!  Intramural sports are for anyone who is eligible and wants to participate!

There is no charge to participate in KSU Intramural Sports; however a forfeit deposit is must be submitted to complete registration. A $40 deposit per team is required for team sports and a $10 deposit is required for individual sports. The fee will be refunded at the end of the season if the team/individual completes the season and playoffs without forfeiting a contest.  

Most sports are played Monday-Thursday during the evenings, but there are also some weekend tournaments. Most activities take place on campus at the Student Recreation and Activities Center, the Owls Nest (3220 Busbee Dr), or The Perch (390 Big Shanty Rd); however, some off-campus venues are utilized.  Information for playing facilities and times for your team will be listed on the sport page, as well as on the schedule on your team's page.

Intramural sports are offered as a recreational program, so the program does not schedule practice and does not hold try-outs.  Teams are able to set up practice on their own, but the program only schedules the games for the team.

This depends on the sport.  For most sports athletes may participate with one Men's or Women's team and with one CoRec team.  There are some sports, such as Bowling, where participants may only play with one team across all leagues.  Make sure to check the sport rules to find out!
