How do I play on a team or sign up for an event?
|
|
For team sports - either put together a group of friends, fraternity brothers/ sorority sisters, club members, etc. and yourself, and sign up as a team. Individual/dual sports - sign up yourself and/or your partner. Dual sport participants in need of a partner will be accommodated, if at all possible. All sign-ups are taken in the Student Fitness Center

How much does it cost?
|
|
The fee for major team sports is $25.00 per team (free agents pay an equal amount of the entry fee). All other sports are free at this time.

Where do we play?
|
|
All team sports play Monday-Thursday evenings at either Rec Sport IM fields, SPEC, HR building. Individual/Dual Sports play Monday-Sunday at either the Tennis Courts or Student Recreation Center.

How do I become an official?
|
|
Officials are needing flag football, soccer, volleyball, basketball and softball, with pay starting at $7.25 per hour. Come by the Fitness Center to apply. You must attend all officials training to be considered for hire.

What do we get if we win?
|
|
All team, individual, dual special event and weekend tournament 1st place champions receive IM Champion T-Shirts. Also, all 1st place winners will have their photos taken for the Wall of honor board.

Can I play on more than one team?
|
|
Specific eligibility rules are outlined under the Intramural Sports Handbook. In general, an individual may play for one men's and one corec's team as along as he or she meets all the eligibility requirements.
